Genre: Annotated Bibliography 

A: This genre assignment asked students to work individually to find sources that they will be using in their position paper. The students had to being by summarizing their stance and offer both sides of their stance. There had to be three sources total for this assignment and one of those sources had to be a counter argument against their position. This allowed the students to gain more knowledge over their topic while finding the right sources needed for project 2. They were also asked to write a reflection on how it fits their position causing them to think more in depth rather than just picking random sources. 

B: My biggest struggle for this genre was finding a naysayer source. I wanted to find a source that not only counters my position but provides my readers with another perspective. The easiest part of this genre was reflection how the sources would be implemented in my project 2 because the sources I choose were very straight forwarded and informative. Finding credible sources was also very easy since I used my school's library website which provided peer-reviewed articles. 

C: My annotated bibliography didn't receive a letter grade or draft assessment. I believe this could be because I put a lot of effort into my annotated bibliography making sure it obtained certain items to ensure I did it correctly. After reviewing my annotated bibliography, I noticed minor spelling errors along with grammar errors in which I edited. I made a minor change of my formatting since I spaced out each source to make it easier to read. 

D: I believe the strongest part of this assignment was the reflections that followed the sources since I needed to explain how those articles benefited my writing. I could have found a better naysayer but it was challenging finding an article that met my expectations because I didn't want to settle for the first article I came across.
