Accessing SacLink Account

SacLink Account

Your SacLink username is essentially your email address without the @csus.edu. For example, if Herky's email address is herky@csus.edu, then the username would be herky.

Your account allows you to:

  • Access your My Sac State
  • Access Canvas, Zoom, Office 365, and Qualtrics
  • Access university computers and virtual campus computer labs
  • Connect to campus Wi-Fi networks
  • Host and edit your personal web pages
  • Search library databases

Access many other campus services and applications. Some Campus services, Office365 and the eduroam network, will require using your full email address.

Creating a SacLink account

  1. To create the account head to https://mysaclink.csus.edu Links to an external site.
  2. Under the Create or Verify Your Account section, enter your last name, your student ID number (provided by the university), and your month and date of birth. We recommend using your student ID number rather than Social Security number as sometimes that information is not finalized in your record.
  3. Click Verify Your Identity.
  4. After a short loading period, you will be asked to select a SacLink user name. This will also act as your campus email address. Select the best option for you, keeping in mind you will type in that name 1000s of times over your stay with Sac State.
  5. Enter a new password and verify the password. Sac State requires that your password is at least 12 characters long, but does not need to have symbols, mixed cases, or other complexities.
  6. Click Create Account.

You can also verify your account in the event you forget your SacLink account name.
