My Sac State Overview

Your home for all things Sacramento State! The campus portal organizes services, news and information personalized for you, and is your go-to resource to access academic and business programs, check email, access Canvas, view system notifications, and manage your SacLink account.

Access My Sac State

  1. Open a web browser, and type my.csus.edu Links to an external site.in the URL bar. 
  2. Log in with your SacLink Username and Password. 

My Sac State Student View   

Access Student Center

Your go to place for registering for classes, paying fees, Financial Aid, accessing your transcripts, official grades, updating your preferred name, and official contact information. 

  1. From My Sac State, click the Student Center link in the upper left. 

Access Sac State Email 

Microsoft Outlook is Sacramento State's official tool for email, calendar, and contacts. Be sure to check your email regularly, don't miss an important message from the University! 

  1. From My Sac State, click the Email icon on the right. 
  2. Your Sac State Email will open in Microsoft 365 Outlook.

Access Canvas 

Canvas is Sac State's Learning Management System (LMS). You will use Canvas to access course materials for most of your courses, submit assignments and projects, access live or recorded lectures, take quizzes and exams, review your grades and progress in your course(s) and communicate with your instructors and peers.   1. From My Sac State, click the Canvas icon on the right, 
  2. Your Canvas Dashboard will open in a new tab.
