What is Color Contrast?
Color contrast refers to the level of difference between two colors. For purposes of online documents, we are looking at the difference in colors between the Text and the background. In order for content to be readable, there needs to exist sufficient color contrast between both areas. Use Colors that contrast for example light text on dark background or dark text on light background. Likely, dont rely on color to convey meaning. Rather describe what you wish to empahsize in textual format and avoid using a combination of colors for lines of text.
Why is Color Contrast Important?
Color contrast is important to ensure readability of your content by low vision or color blind individuals. Effective color contrast provides access to everyone.
